While Chelsea may have routinely seen off the challenge of Peterborough in today's FA Cup third round tie at Stamford Bridge, the match proved to be one to forget for returning captain John Terry.
The Blues' skipper has been reduced to a bit part role over the past year or so and before today had made just seven appearances under Antonio Conte.

As Posh's Lee Angol raced towards goal, the former England captain slid into a slightly rash tackle and, as the last man, received his marching orders, although there didn't appear to be too much contact between the defender and the Peterborough striker:
Even Terry seemed to see the funny side of the decision, which is unsurprising, given that Chelsea were 3-0 up at the time and had the game won. That didn't prevent the Blues' captain from taking a fair amount of stick on social media, though.
