Zlatan Ibrahimovic says players who put goals above sex 'have problems in bed'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says players who put goals above sex 'have problems in bed'

Former AC Milan, Barcelona and Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been comparing scoring goals with sex.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been comparing the feeling of scoring a goal with having sex, claiming that those who prefer the former have problems in the bedroom.

The well-travelled Swedish striker retired from football at the end of last season after a decorated career, with over 500 career goals and 32 trophies.

He recently sat down with Piers Morgan for an in-depth interview on TalkTV and discussed a range of topics, including sex.

As he did with an infamous chat with Cristiano Ronaldo, Morgan asked Ibrahimovic if scoring was better than having intercourse.

But the former AC Milan, Manchester United and Barcelona man was not having it one bit, responding in typical fashion and commenting: "Sex is better. Whoever thinks differently has a problem with his sex."

In the ITV programme 'Cristiano Ronaldo Meets Piers Morgan', the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was asked whether scoring his stunning overhead kick against Juventus in 2018 was better than his bedroom activities with long-time girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.

He too would not swap sex for finding the net.

“No, not [when compared] with my Geo, no!” Ronaldo said.

“I tried to score this goal for many, many years. I had scored 700-odd goals, but I hadn't done this."

Ibrahimovic has been with partner Helena Seger for more than 20 years, having met when she asked him to move his Ferrari which was blocking in her Mercedes.

Together they have two sons, Maximilian and Vincent, who are both on the books of AC Milan.

Gary Lineker scored plenty of goals in his career, including 48 in 80 games for England, but his take on the debate is a little different and he leans towards scoring.

"The only thing you can never replace is the scoring of a big goal, " the Match of the Day host said in an interview for Nick Hancock and Chris England's podcast.

"Scoring a goal…people use that silly thing, ‘Oh is it better than sex?’ You can’t have it any time you want but you can kind of know you’re going to have sex at some point. Whereas you don’t know if you’re ever going to score again."

Piers Morgan's interview with Ibrahimovic will air at 8pm UK time on Thursday.
