Erik ten Hag responds to Man Utd 'leaks' and admits Jadon Sancho may never play for club again

Erik ten Hag has spoken.

Erik ten Hag responded to reports of a Manchester United dressing room leak and discussed Jadon Sancho's future at the club.

United have endured a difficult start to the season, having lost three of their first five league matches and fallen to a 4-3 defeat against Bayern Munich in the opening Champions League encounter of the season.

Moreover, the club have been effected by a spate of injuries as well as the respective absences of Antony and Sancho.

In turn, the past few days have seen a series of reports suggesting disgruntlement among the United staff. The Sun claimed United's squad are still fuming over the treatment David de Gea received prior to his departure, while the Manchester Evening News claimed several players are starting to grow weary of Ten Hag's criticism in the media.

Nevertheless, Ten Hag stressed he was not concerned by the dressing room leaks.

Speaking before United's Premier League encounter against Burnley, Ten Hag said: "I don't know if it's a leak but I know opinion, I know my players. Everyone can make suggestions, we are okay with it.

"At United, you have to win every game so it doesn't change anything. As always, it's about how we play against Burnley, there's no easy game, definitely not against Burnley."

Moreover, Ten Hag spoke of Sancho's future, with the England international having not featured for United since his public falling out with his manager before the international break.

Sancho hit out at Ten Hag's claim he had not trained to the required level to make the squad for in United's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates.

The winger has been training away from his first-team colleagues, after sharing a statement on social media in which he refuted Ten Hag's claim and said he felt like he had been "scapegoated" for a long time.

On whether Sancho would play again for the club, Ten Hag said: "It depends on him. For the rest, we are preparing for Burnley and that's our focus. He will not be in the squad."
