New angle of Jude Bellingham's celebration vs Real Betis shows it was aimed at one fan making obscene gesture

New angle of Jude Bellingham's celebration vs Real Betis shows it was aimed at one fan making obscene gesture

He was making an obscene gesture.

Jude Bellingham directed his goal celebration against Real Betis towards one fan in particular.

On Saturday, Bellingham continued his remarkable start with Los Blancos by scoring his 16th goal in 18 games, as his side claimed a 1-1 draw against Real Betis.

The 20-year-old slotted home after controlling a delightful clipped pass from Brahim Diaz after 53 minutes.

And as the ball nestled into the net Bellingham wheeled away to perform his trademark celebration, standing proud and raising his arms before the Betis faithful.

The England international then blew a kiss and pointed to one supporter who had been directing his middle fingers towards the player. You can watch the incident below.

Bellingham’s goal was later cancelled out by Aitor Ruibal’s stunning equaliser from outside the area with the game ending 1-1. It means Girona can go top with victory at third-placed Barcelona on Sunday.

Betis could even have won it with their last attack but Andriy Lunin tipped over Chadi Riyad’s header.

"It was an even game, well played by both sides. We conceded a goal when we had the game under control but the result was fair," Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti said.

"Given the effort Betis made, they didn't deserve to lose. The result is good. We're happy because it's a tough stadium. They scored a fantastic goal. I am satisfied - you can't win every match."

Last month Bellingham became the first player to score in each of his first four Champions League appearances for Real Madrid, while he has now netted 12 goals and claimed two assists in 14 La Liga appearances.

Not only has Bellingham been central to Real Madrid play this term since a £88million move from Borussia Dortmund, but he is also his side's top scorer this season with Brazil winger Rodrygo closest on nine goals in all competitions.
