Thiago Silva has voiced his displeasure with Neymar after the striker insulted the 33-year-old during Brazil's 2-0 victory over Costa Rica on Friday.

It sounds like a simple win, but the game wasn't easy for Brazil. For the most part, they were frustrated by their South American rivals, with Neymar receiving a yellow card for slamming the ball into the ground, when his emotions got to him.

The Paris Saint-Germain attacker's anger during the match even spilled over towards his teammates, too, it seems. Veteran player and PSG teammate Silva has told Brazilian publication Globo that he was disappointed with the 26-year-old, after Neymar insulted him when a free-kick didn't go his way:

"Today, I was saddened by his behaviour," said Silva.

"But I think I was right, because they were trying to save time. I returned the ball because it was not this ball that was going to win us.

"I am calm about that and I was sad about his behaviour towards me."

The defender is one of the most respected players in the squad. Neymar's behaviour towards him surely won't go down well, at both club and national level.

Even still, Brazil have Serbia left to face in their group.

The five-time winners are most peoples' favourites to win the tournament, especially with the 'best' nations at this summer's competition largely under-performing so far.
