At the start of the season, the general consensus was that one of the Manchester clubs will end up winning the Premier League title.

The predictions were right, Manchester City came first and Manchester United finished as runners-up.

But even though the league positions came as no surprise, no one expected the Citizens to run away with the title in the way that they did.

The Blues won it at a frightening level, breaking numerous Premier League records while positioning themselves into discussions about being the greatest Premier League team of all time, alongside the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson's Red Devils of 1999 and Arsene Wenger's Invincibles team of 2004. As early as November, the league title was never in doubt.

And now Sky Sports have captured Pep Guardiola side's dominance on English football this season with a brilliant info-graphic, highlighting all the records that the side have broken this season.

As the graphic shows, this season, Man City accumulated the most points, have won the most games, including away victories and consecutive wins, scored the most goals, have greatest goal difference, and even made a points gap to 2nd place. Wow.

It's some season for the Citizens, to say the least. The say couldn't be said for the neutral who enjoys a riveting title race. That didn't happen this season. City ran riot.

The only trouble for them now is repeating the same thing for next season. There's surely no way they can go and break their own record in the following season, is there? Let us know what you think in the comments section.
