Steven Gerrard Proves He Could Still Play With Sublime Touchline Flick

Never in doubt.

Steven Gerrard proved he's still got the magic touch, as, in his first game in charge of Rangers, he was seen flicking the ball with his feet to bring it down.

Tekkers is what they call it. Gerrard was overseeing his first game in charge of Rangers and he stunned the crowd with this cheeky tricky, whilst wearing a full suit and tie. Impressive.

Rangers and Liverpool fans flocked on social media to praise their man for this tidy move on the touchline.

Gerrard retired from professional football in 2016 after spending almost all his career with his beloved Liverpool, before making the move to America to play in Major League Soccer, with LA Galaxy.

He got his career underway at the Ibrox last night with a game in the Europa League qualifying round. Rangers beat Macedonian side FK Shkup in the first leg and won 2-0 with goals coming from Jamie Murphy and James Tavernier.

The Scottish side will face the return leg with Shkupi on Tuesday 17 July - and supporters will be hoping to see more wins - and expert pieces of skill from their manager - in the years to come.

How will Gerrard fare at his new side? Let us know what you think in the comments section.
