The Spanish press have spoken out about Cristiano Ronaldo's possible move to Juventus - and their thoughts might come as a surprise to some.

The Real Madrid star crashed out of the World Cup but he's still managing to turn all attention to him. There's the idea that he might just make the move to Juventus, in a deal thought to be worth 100 million euros, and this news has started to overshadow the World Cup.

The 33-year-old spoke cryptically about leaving Los Blancos after his side won the Champions League, following a 3-1 win over Liverpool in Kiev.

And now the local press have made their feelings clear about the possible departure of Ronaldo - and the ramifications it would have on Real.

Raul Varela (Radio MARCA) said: "Yes: Madrid have to reinvent The club. They must prepare for the imminent new order of world football. Stop being the 'Madrid of Cristiano."

Jaime Rodriguez (El Mundo) said: "Yes: Someday he had to leaveIf he insists on leaving, if it's a real desire and not a mere measure of pressure, I think it's right that the club accepts a good offer for him.

"Madrid have matched the offer, so he can't leave justifying 'economic abuse.' Someday he had to get his goodbye."

Manuel Bruna (Mundo Deportivo) said: "Yes: Madrid can't be at the mercy of any player. Yes, I would sell him because this soap opera has already lasted a long time.

In fact, out of the 11 reporters quizzed about whether the sale of Ronaldo would be good for the club, only two thought that he should not be sold.

Are they watching the same game as we are?
