Marouane Fellaini somehow lost his mascot prior to kick-off in the tunnel.

Only Fellaini could lose a mascot...

Ahead of Manchester United's Champions League fixture against Young Boys at Old Trafford, Fellaini lost his mascot just like how he lost his marker in the 91st minute of the match.

As the two teams came out of the tunnel, both sets of players were accompanied with a young mascot.

However, Fellaini lost his mascot, looking around quizzically as Fred and Jesse Lingard walked out on to the field with a young child.

He eventually reunited with his mascot before the Champions League anthem.

The Belgium international went from comedian to hero.

He popped up deep into stoppage time to score a dramatic goal to secure United a spot in the next round of the Champions League.

Old Trafford erupted when he found the back of the net including the touchline as Jose Mourinho brilliantly kicked and threw water bottles everywhere.
