Premier League Side Make £25 Million Bid For Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish could be in the Premier League sooner rather than later.

Before Aston Villa were relegated, Jack Grealish was on the scene, showing off his talent in the Premier League. Being young, the English attacker earned himself a lot of attention, with even calls from some suggesting that he had earned an England call-up.

Grealish did represent the Republic of Ireland at international level while in his teens but soon he found himself in the England youth set-up.

He played for the Three Lions at under-21 level at the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Aston Villa's relegation from the Premier League meant that Grealish flew under the radar for a spot in Gareth Southgate's squad for the World Cup.

This opening season, however, Grealish has shown why so many were excited about his talent to start with. He's been on fire for the Villains - the side who missed out on promotion last season. But this meant that some top tier sides are now looking to buy Grealish.

And now, reportedly, Tottenham Hotspurs have come in with an offer. Sam Wallace of The Telegraph reports that the north London side made a bid last night, in the region of around £25 million.

The move, if it was to go through, would offer some relief to Spurs fans, who have had to deal with a largely frustrating transfer window this summer.

Can you see this transfer going through, or will Spurs have to spend a little more to get their man? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
