Real Madrid are kicking off their Champions League defence against Roma and are looking to make it four in four on the trot. To win three back-to-back tournaments is unbelievable, but for Los Blancos -- even without Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo -- they are hungry for more.

Now, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has revealed the team that he would love to see manager Julen Lopetegui beat in the final of this season's competition.

Press Association

According to El Confidencial (via the Daily Mirror), Pérez is eying up an El Clásico at the Wanda Metropolitano, which is the home stadium of fierce rivals Atlético Madrid.

It sounds like a dream scenario for any Madrid fan, so there's no blaming Pérez for putting Lopetegui in the tough position of continuing on Zidane's success in Europe's elite competition.

Let's be honest, though: the hype would be unreal for Madrid vs Barcelona in the Champions League final.

Press Association

"It makes me feel proud, responsible and very excited about a competition that I don't need to explain what it means to us and what Real Madrid means to the Champions League," Lopetegui said.

"You can only take your hat off to the players and their coach [for winning three successive Champions League trophies].

"Now, I'm going into each competition with desire, enthusiasm and confidence that we will win. It's normal that there's pressure at Real Madrid."
