Liverpool's James Milner Makes His 500th Premier League Appearance

James Milner reached an incredible personal milestone this lunchtime.

Liverpool are facing Bournemouth with Jurgen Klopp naming Milner at right-back, and in doing so he made his 500th Premier League appearance.

A remarkable record for the versatile Yorkshireman.

Milner graduated from Leeds' youth academy and made his Premier League debut at the tender age of 16 in 2002.

He then enjoyed spells at Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Manchester City where he won the league title on two occasions.

Milner secured a transfer to Liverpool in 2015 and has been a reliable player for Klopp.

In fact, the 32-year-old is arguably the most underrated player in England's top flight.

A consummate professional and a player who's capable of adopting several positions without fuss, not to mention always putting in a shift wherever he plays.
