Gary Neville Says He'll Hide Out In The Amazon Forest If Liverpool Win The Champions League

He isn't forgetting the Manchester-Liverpool rivalry for the sake of England.

Gary Neville has said that he's prepared to leave Manchester to hide out in the rain-forests of the Amazon Jungle should Liverpool win the Champions League.

The Reds face off in the cup final of the competition against Real Madrid in Kiev later this month.

They have impressed with their brilliant attacking flair in the tournament, stemming from Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mané and the prolific Mohamed Salah, who has scored ten goals in the tournament alone.

But despite their breath-taking football, Neville is not letting go of old rivalries.

In fear that Liverpool supporters will forever to be gloating about another Champions League trophy, the former Manchester United defender joked via the Daily Mail: "We've got a charter booked for the 27th of May."

"There will be a million flights booked out of Manchester to the forests of the Amazon where there's no wifi.

"We're out of here, we're gone. It'd be the season from hell."

"Let's just live in hope that United win the FA Cup and our friend and boy Cristiano (Ronaldo) turns up, scores a lovely little hat-trick.

"Liverpool have done brilliantly to get to a Champions League final. I just don't want them to win it!"

Neville is hoping and praying that former teammate and global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo can put a stop to any potential Reds party.

The Portugal international has 40 goals in the Champions League across the quarter-final, semi-final and final of the competition, more than Raul, Lionel Messi Ruud van Nistelrooy and Karim Benzema combined.

The Liverpool defence has been solidified through the inclusion of Virgil van Dijk in January - but it will still take something mighty special to upsurp Ronaldo.

Likewise, the Egyptian King, Salah, will catch the attention of many. Just the 44 goals in all competitions this season. But can he add it? Liverpool will hope so, Everton, Man United and Neville won't.
