Well, you would be excited if he was joining your club, wouldn't you?

Hundreds of Juventus supporters excitedly flocked outside their club's stadium to see star man Cristiano Ronaldoa arrive for his medical.

Everyone was getting sort of, well, too World-Cupy for Ronaldo's liking, and so he brought the news right back on him, with a dazzlingly and unexpected £100 million move from Real Madrid to Juventus.

The northern Italian side are hated by many other fans in Serie A. They are sort of Manchester United to us under the Sir Alex Ferguson era, when they won pretty much everything all the time - aside from a great amount of Champions League trophies, that is.

But where Man United won two, Juve haven't won the Champions League since 1996. They reached the final of the competition an agonising five times since then.

The club feels Ronaldo is the man to take them that one step further and clinch that European trophy that has evaded them for so long.

The former Manchester United player must first pass his medical, which, of course, he will, because he's Ronaldo - he gives the tests, doesn't he?

If that goes without a hitch, the Portugal international will be a Juventus player, having signed a four-year contract. He will be 37 by the time that deal is up, but it's thought there is more to come from one of the greatest players to grace the game; he defies age, seemingly peaking in years which most other footballers start to stagnate.

It's no wonder why countless supporters stood outside the medical centre adjacent to Allianz Stadium to see Ronaldo for his medical, ahead of his unveiling.

And Ronaldo enjoyed the attention.
