Dimitar Berbatov has chosen his three choices for the Golden Boot in the Premier League next season.

We are less than a week away from the new season and that means former players and pundits have been giving their predictions ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

He said via Betfair: "I think the top Premier League goalscorer will be Harry Kane. It's a tough call, there's also [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang - because he had a solid first season in the league and will want to build that in his second season with a new coach. There's Romelu Lukaku who performed well at the World Cup.

"Out of those three, I would have to say, Kane. He had a tremendous World Cup campaign, will have even more confidence in himself and these aspects help a striker."

Aubameyang is an outside choice. He moved to Arsenal during the January transfer window and scored ten times in 13 outings - a very impressive amount.

Lukaku had a superb World Cup campaign and helped the side finish third in the tournament. Last season he did well but did not exceed what was expected of him.

Kane has voluntarily come back to Tottenham Hotspurs training to get into match fitness, but the England striker struggles to find form early on in the season and that likely was the reason why he lost out on the Golden Boot last campaign.
