Cristiano Ronaldo's agent has provided an update to the recent saga, by suggesting, almost cryptically, that if the star were to leave Real Madrid, he would be hugely grateful to the club.
Ronaldo has been the subject of intense speculation surrounding a possible move to Juventus and these comments are sure to intensify the rumours.
The 33-year-old threw his future in doubt at Real Madrid, when he said after the Champions League final clash and ultimate victory against Liverpool:
"I'll speak in the next few days. Now it's time to enjoy the moment. The future of any player isn't important. We've made history."
Following his and Portugal's exit from the World Cup, the star has been linked with a move to Italian mega club Juve, for a fee reported to be around 100 million euros, on contract that would see him play for the side for four years.
And now his agent Jorge Mendes has just said this via the Record:

"If Cristiano will leave Real Madrid, he'll be always grateful to the club, the president, Real Madrid fans. If it will happen, he'll join a top club to continue his great career"
If there were a quote which, without question, suggests that this shock move is on the cards, this would be it.
Ronaldo has spent almost ten years at Madrid so far and has become their top scorer and, arguably, their greatest ever player.
A move to Juve for Ronaldo would surely be a cause for concern for Los Blancos, as they face a new era without Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo.
