AS Roma are no stranger to longevity and loyalty, which is why they have left this classy message to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The French manager had his final game today as Arsenal boss. A 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town rounded off a wonderful 22-year career at the club.

Since joining the side, Wenger has brought Arsenal from mid-table obscurity to one of the Premier League's most revered clubs. He is Arsenal's greatest ever manager, earning a runners-up spot in the Champions League, winning three Premier League titles and seven F.A Cups (a record.)

And now AS Roma have paid their respect to the Gunners legend in a brilliant social media message, whilst highlighting their own club legend, Francesco Totti.

And the reaction to this post has been brilliant.

Totti spent 25 glorious years at Roma. He scored 307 goals in 786 appearances, making him the club's highest-ever scorer.

In that time, he won the Serie A once, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana twice. He and Wenger have left a lasting impact on their clubs. We just hope this isn't a dying trend and that we will see a few more players and managers remaining at sides for lengthy periods. It seemed to have worked well for those two.
