Manchester City and Liverpool get the new season underway with the Community Shield, and here is how to watch it LIVE.

Pep Guardiola's domestic treble winners take on Jurgen Klopp's European champions with the first silverware of the season up for grabs.

Here is how you can watch and stream all the action from Wembley this Sunday.

What TV channel is it on?

BT Sport will show the game live in the United Kingdom on Sunday afternoon.

Subscribers can also stream the action online or via the BT Sport app on mobile and tablet.

EE phone customers on certain tariffs can also stream via the BT Sport app depending on their package.

What time is kick-off?

The game will begin at 3pm local time on Sunday.

Coverage on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate begins at 2.30pm - 30 minutes before kick-off.

What is the Community Shield?

Formerly the Charity Shield, this match takes place a week before the Premier League starts as a traditional curtain raiser.

The Premier League champions traditionally take on the FA Cup winners in the one-off match at Wembley.

In this case, however, as Manchester City won both trophies, they face second-placed Premier League finishers Liverpool.
