Lionel Messi had the whole world purring with his performance against Real Betis at the weekend but one 'pundit' in Spain thinks the Argentina forward will go into hiding against Manchester United.
Once again the past week has led to the debate that we're fed of hearing about...Brexit. Now if only John Bercow could stop us all voting on 'Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo' polls then the world would be a happier place.
Of course the Brexit debate has of course been overshadowed by football's long running discussion because in the past week the two men at the centre of it have scored ridiculous hat-tricks.
Ronaldo scored three for Juventus against Atletico Madrid to take the Old Lady through to the Champions League quarter finals, from 2-0 down in the first leg.

Messi responded by scoring one of the best hat-tricks you're likely to see against Real Betis in La Liga, with the third being a magnificent lob over the keeper that most players wouldn't even have thought of doing, never mind executing it.
However one 'pundit,' who also happens to be a Real Madrid fan, thinks that Messi will 'hide' in the Champions League quarter against Manchester United and would 'leave the team knocked out once again.'
Tomas Roncero is well known for ranting on El Chiringuito television and he can often be seen wearing Real Madrid merch, so he's not exactly neutral when it comes to talking about either of the Clasico sides.

However Roncero might have a bit of a point seeing as the La Liga leaders haven't been able to get past the quarters in the last three seasons, including last season's collapse against Roma.
United shocked PSG in the last round of the competition but will have to go one further to get past Ernesto Valverde's side.
Will Messi go missing against United or will he be the difference?
