Lucas Biglia completed his £15 million transfer to AC Milan from Serie A rivals Lazio, but he immediately infuriated the San Siro faithfuls after an embarrassing slip of the tongue.
The 31-year-old joins the AC Milan revolution as he becomes the clubs ninth major summer signing. Though he nearly ended his ties with the fans after blurting out two ill-advised words.
After visiting the ground to undergo his medical before making his switch official, Biglia, donned in an AC Milan training jersey, drove past fans while signing auto-graphs and taking selfies.
It was all going so smoothly until he started to speak.
A supporter innocently asked the Argentinean to say something to his new set of fans. Biglia obliged by hollering, "Forza Lazio." Oops.
The fan who asked the question was stunned before Biglia attempted to salvage the situation while looking horrified.
"This is not a good start," an AC Milan fan hurled at his direction.

"The Argentinian is a quality player with a strong tactical sense. Biglia is important on and off the ball, starting the move for the team, with great vision of play and a talented set piece taker," the club said in an official statement.
While they are in talks to secure the services of Real Madrid's sought-after striker Alvaro Morata after reportedly tabling a £61 million offer.
