The former Arsenal forward isn't happy with Jose Mourinho's team and his agent has reportedly eyed a move elsewhere.

Alexis Sanchez only played a cameo as Manchester United were well beaten by rivals City in the Manchester derby and things are so bad for the former Arsenal man that he has just three good friends at Old Trafford.

Going back in time just 15 months would find a world where Pep Guardiola was desperate to sign Alexis Sanchez, one of the best forwards in the world, as his contract at Arsenal entered the last year.

City failed to sign the Chilean in the transfer window in the summer of 2017, despite a deadline day offer, but it was expected that the Etihad owned club would go back for the former Barcelona man in the following January.

Guardiola once again installed the two time Copa America winner as their number one target but, whilst he did move to Manchester, he ended up at Old Trafford.

It was mainly seen as a win for United and Jose Mourinho over their local rivals but it has severely backfired for them and Sanchez can't get in United's starting line up regularly right now.

It's not just his form that raises big questions about his future either. According to The Times, the 29 year old only really talks to three other players, enjoying a 'reasonable relationship' with David De Gea, Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku but barely talking to others.

Things are so bad for Sanchez at Old Trafford that his agent has reportedly started looking for places for his client to move to and PSG have reportedly made their interest known.

The player is supposedly unhappy with Mourinho's tactical style, which he must have known about before he moved to United, and is annoyed that his manager is more impressed by his defensive work than attacking prowess.

It remains to be seen whether United would sell Sanchez and if PSG would put the money up for him, certainly in January, but he could be the perfect replacement should either of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe or Edinson Cavani leave in the next year.

It's certainly been a weird 15 months for Sanchez and right now it doesn't look like it'll be getting better anytime soon.
