Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is without doubt one of the most recognisable people on the whole planet. He was a WWE superstar, he's been in loads of films, and is one of the highest paid actors in the world.

Basically, he's well known, and you'd think that his former employer, World Wrestling Entertainment, would be able to identify him too.

That being said, in a recent social media post about Rocky's new book they managed to knacker the job in and tagged another Dwayne Johnson in the post.

The other Dwayne Johnson is not the Brahma Bull, The Great One, or The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment. He's just a bloke from East London.

WWE posted on social media saying: "The World of The Rock available from Asda now! The People's Champion, The Brahma Bull and a WWE LEGEND!

"Read all about the journey of one of the GREATEST of all time, Dwayne Johnson in his brand new book! Get yours now from Asda stores!"

That would have been fine, had they not got the wrong guy. As soon as you hovered the mouse over the link you could have figured that out.

Because everyone on the internet is massively pedantic, it didn't take long for someone to spot their mistake. One eagle-eyed WWE follower called Wayne Lenord, from Manchester, said: "Haha WWE, you tagged the wrong Dwayne Johnson."

Wayne Lenord spotted the mistake.

The 37-year-old later explained: : "I've been a WWE fan for more than 30 years and Dwayne The Rock Johnson has always been a favourite.

"I was surprised to see that a company like the WWE could make such a mistake.

"I wouldn't like to be the one who tells Dwayne they tagged the wrong guy. But it might help London's Dwayne Johnson secure more Facebook friends as he only has 27."

That's nice then - you can't buy that kind of exposure.

He's also going to get an invite to come down and watch the world's largest pro-wrestling organisation in action. WWE has decided to rectify their mistake by offering the other Johnson tickets to come see WWE Smackdown Live at London's O2 Arena next 14 May.

They have also said that - if he wants - he can have a copy of The Rock's book. So that's something.

East London's Dwayne Johnson was contacted for comment but has yet to respond.
