The world has so many questions it wants to ask rapper Kanye West - who continues to baffle and amaze us with each day that passes.

Well, now we might get some of those mysteries answered, courtesy of Joe Rogan's podcast.

Kanye had tweeted to say he was interested in doing a 'serious interview' that focused on mental health, adding that it sadly seemed like the press were 'afraid to speak to someone who has been diagnosed but is still everyone's favourite super hero'.

The UFC colour commentator then reportedly offered the rapper to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience, which Kanye confirmed would be 'coming soon' on Twitter.

As you'd imagine, people were pretty hyped at the prospect.

One person tweeted: "LOOOL I`m so hyped for this podcast I started sweating."

Someone else commented: "Bro this is gonna be legendary."

A third added: "I really want it to be good, but a disaster would be so much fun."

But the one thing everyone was thinking? That Rogan would probably (or hopefully) probe Kanye on the drug DMT, which he once rapped about taking - soon becoming an internet meme, as most things do.

Another said it will be the 'interview of the year'.

And they could be right - after all, it's not like Rogan be short of subject matter after a year like Kanye's had.

From a pro-Trump tirade on Saturday Night Live through to changing his name simply to 'Ye', there's been a lot for us to digest.

He even got 2019 off to a bizarre start, as the news of the forthcoming podcast came embedded among yet more strange Tweet-rants.

Moments after tweeting about the Joe Rogan podcast, he wrote: "One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can't tell me what to do because I'm black."

In another, he added: "From now on I'm performing with my mutherfucking hat on."

He also tweeted that we should 'Love everyone' and 'start the year clean' - which finally sounds like some Kanye advice we could actually get on board with...
