Darting sensation Luke Littler is reportedly set to partake in a completely different sport on ITV.

Littler, 17, rose to stardom during the 2024 PDC World Darts Championships at the Alexandra Palace, London earlier in the year.

The teenager went on a fairytale run to the final but was ultimately beaten by world number one Luke Humphries.

Since then, Littler has won multiple titles and won the 2024 Premier League less than two weeks ago.

Recently, Littler travelled to New York as he took part in the US Darts Masters.

The Brit was eventually beaten by Welshman Gerwyn Price in the semi-final by seven legs to six.

Now, it has been reported that Littler will take on a completely different sport in an upcoming program which will be shown on ITV.

The 17-year-old is swapping his darts for fishing rods as he is set to be involved in the Target Sports Stars Fishing Championship.

As reported by The Sun, ITV4 and ITVX will broadcast a two-hour show on July 30.

Littler will be teaming up with fellow darts stars Rob Cross, James Wade and Adrian Lewis.

In addition, other sports stars include former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman, England great Terry Butcher, boxing star Kell Brook and snooker legend Steve Davis.

Sports promoter Barry Hearn, boxers Natasha Jonas and Terri Harper and Rugby League trio Josh Charnley, Tom Briscoe and Sam Powell are also on the roster.

Speaking about the event, Littler said: “I’ve never fished in my life so it’s completely new. But I’m really excited to be fishing in the Target Sports Stars Fishing Championship.”

Despite winning the tournament, Littler recently revealed he was glad the Premier League darts was over.

He said to The Mirror: “Now that the Premier League is over, thank god it's over.

“The travelling on Friday at like three or four in the morning, and then people expecting you to play your best darts on Friday night, it was just difficult. Now the Premier League is over we can sort of balance it out and see what we play in.”
