It's one of the weirdest (and best) traditions of big football tournaments - getting random animals across the country to pick the winning team.
One of the best ones this year was Marcus the Mystic Pig, who was the animal of choice for ITV's This Morning.

Yesterday, he veered straight to the apples marked with an England flag, barely even glancing at the Croation apples.
(We all pretended we couldn't see that the pig had clearly been pointed in the direction of the England pile and he's obviously going to take the easiest route to food. We all also ignored that the England pile was bigger).
While Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield celebrated loudly at the time, it turns out Marcus the Mystic Pig is a liar and a fraud.

Damnit.
People are kicking off at the poor pig on Twitter this morning - we trusted you, Marcus.
People are Tweeting their devastation this morning, after blindly trusting that Marcus was onto something, even placing bets based on the pig's predictions.
One person tweeted, "Just putting it out there, Marcus the psychic pig is a liar & he owes me £10"

Paul the Octopus was the football predicting animal OG. He lived at a Seaworld in Germany and correctly predicted 12 out of 14 German matches.
Paul died in 2010, leaving the role of psychic animal up for grabs.
This year we've had Achilles the deaf cat, who lives in the host country and has been pretty successful in his predictions.

There was Rabio the Japanese octopus, Zella the German elephant (she was well off, she though Senegal were going to win the whole tournament), and a pair of Russian dolphins.
Britain's very own Marcus the micropig was our favourite though.
Shame he's probably been turned into a sausage now.
