In one of strangest stories we've written this week, Anthony Joshua has revealed that a habit almost cost him his boxing career but it's not what you expect.

It has emerged that Anthony Joshua was addicted to FIFA, to the point it affected his sleep and recovery during crucial times in his development as a boxer.

Anthony Joshua was recently crowned the new IBF world heavyweight champion but speaking to The Sun, he admitted that FIFA almost derailed his career in boxing.

To be fair, I admit to buying hundreds of FIFA Ultimate Team packs in the past. Not healthy at all.

Joshua said the following about his 'FIFA addiction'

"I used to play FIFA until it affected boxing.

I had to stop playing because it affected my sleep and recovery. I could stay up till five in the morning playing it, get up at seven and train. That's how mad it was, it wasn't healthy..."

FIFA addiction is real, folkes.
