Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder put on an instant classic back in December when the two men fought for the WBC and lineal heavyweight titles and now they're set to do it all over again.
No one expected Tyson Fury to beat Deontay Wilder. The undefeated British heavyweight was only two fights back into his comeback, against poor opposition, when he made the step up to fight fellow undefeated champion Deontay Wilder.
The Gypsy King was a huge underdog but by the end of the 12 rounds most people thought that he should have been declared the new champion, instead the fight was called a draw and the Bronze Bomber retained.
It was mainly down to the fact that twice Wilder knocked Fury to the ground and so there were two 10-8 rounds in his favour. Only one judge gave the fight to the Brit, one had it level and one gave it to the American.

Fortunately the draw set up the chance that we'd get a rematch and the WBC ordered one to make it even more likely.
Now it seems that the two men have come to an agreement on terms and the rematch looks set for May 18th at Barclays Centre in New York, although that has not been confirmed yet:
Speaking to TalkSPORT on Friday Wilder was very confident the rematch would happen, saying, "Most definitely, it's definitely going to happen again. Unless Fury backs out of it, or anything of that sort of nature. But, to my understanding, as of right now everything is good.

"...It will definitely be back here, our pay-per-view prices are just way higher than over in the UK.
"You guys pay only like $25, but we can go from $50 to $100 easy and that's with everything!"
Fury did brilliant to come back into the ring, then get the chance to fight for a world title belt and finally take Wilder to a decision for only the second time in his career.

The 30 year old though won't be interested in just showing his mettle in the rematch. He should have got the decision the first time, now he gets the chance to rewrite the wrongs of December.
