Even before the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather was official everyone was intrigued by the potential of it all. And now the two have finally faced off for the first time!
It's possible that there isn't two men on the earth with more arrogance than Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, not just in boxing, MMA or sport but the world as a whole.

The thing is that both men have generally backed up what their arrogance suggests. They very much cash the cheques that their mouths write for them.
Even since the fight has been announced for August 26th in Las Vegas the idea of the 'King of MMA' and the 'King of Boxing' has still seemed somewhat surreal.
Tonight though it really hit us, in a way that no man has ever hit Floyd Mayweather.
For the first time ever the pair came face-to-face and of course with two of the biggest names in sport eyeballing each other everyone was getting very excited:

Mayweather hasn't fought in what is very nearly two years and is now 40 years old coming up against the much younger and more active man.

However of course the American is one of the greatest pound-for-pound boxers of all times with a 49-0 record and this is his sport.
The Irishman on the other hand has never had a professional boxing match and despite being one of the best strikers in MMA he'll still have to go along way to beating Mayweather.
The pair have just started their world tour of press conferences with a further event in America plus one in Canada and finally London on Friday.
They'll be a lot more in the war of worlds to come!
