Saul Canelo Alvarez has the chance to become a two weight world champion when he takes on Rocky Fielding on Saturday night but fans won't let his six month ban for drugs go.

It was a bit of a surprise when Rocky Fielding earned himself a middleweight world title, beating Tyron Zeuge to gain the WBA regular super middleweight, but it was even more of a surprise when his first defence was named as Saul Canelo Alvarez.

Canelo is fresh from two world title fights against Gennady Golovkin at middleweight, drawing the first and winning the second, both in controversial circumstances, and is one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world.

As well as the controversy in the results of the two fights against GGG the bigger controversy was about Canelo's failed drugs test, which saw him banned for six months.

Whilst it seems like a very lenient punishment for failing a drugs test, even if the Mexican did claim that it was because of contaminated meat, fans definitely aren't going to let him forget.

Some fans noticed a mark on his body at the weigh in and put two and two together to make 18:

Despite the fact that he's the one going up in weight, and the challenger, Alvarez starts as the huge favourite against his Liverpudlian opponent.

Can Fielding cause a huge upset?
