Tyson Fury will face UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) charges over the alleged presence of a banned substance.
The World Heavyweight Champion is due to face Wladimir Klitschko in October, a rematch from last November when Fury dethroned the Ukrainian, in Dusseldorf. However, The Sunday Mirror reported on the 26th June that traces of banned substance nandrolone were found in a urine sample taken from Fury in February 2015.
A suspension in June has now been provisionally lifted, meaning Fury's return bout with Klitschko is still due to go ahead and the Manchester based boxer has strenuously denied being guilty of any doping offences, as has his brother Hughie, who has also been charged. Fury's legal team claim the results of tests taken in March and May 2015 were contradictory.

Lawyer Lewis Power said of the case, "The two boxers strenuously deny taking any performance-enhancing drugs. However, during the last five weeks leaks about these charges have appeared in the press and both boxers have been the targets of continual abusive language on Twitter."
The charges will be considered at a hearing of the independent National Anti-Doping Panel on a date to be confirmed.
