In other news, the rumoured world tour is finally official. Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will come face-to-face at the first pre-fight press conference next week.

The date for the diary is 11th July at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. They will kick off their press obligations next Tuesday ahead of their massive fight on the 26th August from Las Vegas, Nevada.

The iconic Staples Center - which houses games from basketball to ice hockey, from the LA Lakers and Clippers to the LA Kings - officially announced the press conference on social media.

As well as LA, a few other dates in the States is expected, with Toronto, Canada, also potentially hosting a press conference.

Texas and New York have also been muted as possible destinations.

Unfortunately for McGregor fans, Dublin, Ireland, is not on the schedule though a presser at London's Wembley Stadium is on the cards.

Mayweather will seek to improve his incredible professional record to 50-0, while the UFC champion will make his debut inside the squared circle.

The 40-year-old former pound-for-pound king ends his two year spell away from the sport.

Meanwhile, McGregor is fresh off becoming a father following his long time girlfriend, Dee Devlin, giving birth to a baby boy, and returns to action after making UFC history by becoming the first fighter in the promotion to hold two titles, simultaneously.

Tuesday's press conference is guaranteed to deliver fireworks.

WE CAN'T WAIT!
