Last week, former unified light-welterweight champion Amir Khan announced that he and his wife Faryal had agreed to separate.
Khan updated his Twitter following with a fairly considerate tweet and wished Faryal well, but what followed was an absolute shitstorm involving one of the hardest blokes in boxing, Anthony Joshua.
The 30-year-old uploaded a number of screenshots claiming that she was messaging world heavyweight champion Joshua behind his back.

He continued to rip into the mother of his child with a series of Twitter posts:
Minutes later, Joshua responded to the claims.

'AJ' posted two tweets - the first of which was a snippet of Shaggy's 'It Wasn't Me' music video.
He then categorically denied the claims by letting us all know just how he "likes his women":
7 days after Joshua's tweets went viral, Khan has issued an apology to the 27-year-old after ex-wife Faryal confirmed that the screenshots were fake.
Khan then apologised to Joshua by saying: "glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best."

It seems the previous beef has been swept under the rug after the explosive exchange last week:
We won't be seeing the Wrestlemania main event: Khan vs Joshua with Faryal taking the role as special guest referee, anytime soon.
Sorry, folks.
