Boxing fans have been left worried about Tony Bellew after he delivered an uncomfortable post-match interview.

The 35-year-old Brit lost to Oleksandr Usyk in the eighth round at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the former WBC Cruiserweight Champion looked -- and sounded -- lost with his response.

Meanwhile, boxing fans flocked to social media to raise their concerns about the injuries that he sustained in the fight.

The Liverpool-born boxer, who has since retired from boxing, was ahead on the judges' scorecards, but he couldn't stop the 31-year-old Ukrainian boxer from retaining his IBF, WBO, WBA and WBC Cruiserweight Championships.

While he's done with boxing, Bellew has not ruled out the possibility of joining the UFC.

"Usyk kept his discipline after falling behind in the first few rounds," boxer Carl Frampton said (via BBC Sport).

"Constantly on the front foot and the pressure worked. Absolute credit to Tony on tonight and what he's done in his career.

"Commiserations Tony Bellew and congratulations Oleksandr Usyk. Great fight!"

Should Bellew enter the UFC?
