"I mean it's business, isn't it?" He said when asked about a fight against the UFC megastar.
McGregor, of course, has already dabbled in the boxing bubble. He made his professional boxing debut versus Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
The American stopped McGregor in the 10th round to record his 50th professional boxing victory.

"We're at a level now where it makes great business like Floyd Mayweather. We all learned from Floyd Mayweather - how he makes fights happen," he added.
"Conor McGregor vs Amir Khan would be a massive fight. It'd be huge, you've got Irish vs English so that'll be massive.

He faces reigning world welterweight champion Crawford at Madison Square Garden this weekend.
Crawford is considered one of the best pound-for-pound boxers and is 2-0 at 147 lbs after dominating the light-welterweight division.
Khan, meanwhile, returned to boxing following his devastating defeat to 'Canelo' by recording back-to-back victories albeit against modest competition.
He smashed Phil Lo Greco inside a minute before outpointing Samuel Vargas in a war.
