Anthony Joshua has had a busy year. After beating former WBA, IBF and WBO champ Wladimir Klitschko in an 11th-round knockout in April 2017 (for which he pocketed approximately £15m/$20m) - a fight hailed as one of the best in recent years - AJ has gone from star boxer to, well, mega star, signing a number of contracts to appear in pay-per-view fights and adverts.

However, despite his newfound global status and wealth, Daily Star reports that the Watford boy still lives at home with his mum in Golders Green, London.

Ever since emerging on the scene, Joshua has been renowned for his humble style and brag-free, no-nonsense approach to fights, helping him achieve his position as WBA and IBO champion. However, that humility hasn't stopped him accumulating neither great wealth nor mega-expensive luxuries like a Audemars Piguet watch. At a cost of nearly £350,000 ($460,000), the star could be accused of blowing his money on something that a phone can do - except he didn't pay for it.
Smart, sharp, good-looking and likeable, companies are falling over themselves to get Joshua on board to be the face of their brands, resulting in more freebies than you can shake a stick at.

"My AP watch? That's a bad boy! It would have cost about £350,000 to buy. When I first saw it, I was blown away."

The star also drives an £80,000 ($105,000) Range Rover from Jaguar but, more importantly, eats for free at Nando's with a Black Card - presumably eating chicken because it's chock full of lovely protein, a must for boxers.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Joshua said: "If I earned $400m (£300m) a fight I don't think it would change me or my lifestyle very much. My lifestyle is set up. I know what I need to get through my day. I don't need a lot. The most extravagant thing I do is help people.
"There's no charity I'm affiliated to but I do a lot first hand. I'm helping a lot of families who are doing much better than they were a year or two ago. I think that's the best thing about me."
Go AJ.
