Only Fury could make his prediction for the super fight between Mayweather and end up calling out Hulk Hogan for the fight.

Boxing these days is about a cult of personality in the way that only wrestling used to be about and as two of the biggest personalities prepare to face off against each other the third biggest has made his prediction.

There was a time when professional wrestling was mocked for the fakery of everything that happens in and out of the ring but these days half of boxing and UFC seems to be about providing hype that is just as fake.

The hatred that led to Dereck Chisora throwing a table at Dillian Whyte seemed to disappear nearly as quickly as the similar hatred that preceded the David Haye and Tony Bellew fight. It was all kissy faces and respect after.

Boxing hasn't quite got it right just yet. If you throw a table in the build up then surely you set up a tables match?!

When it comes to fighters with personalities big enough for the WWE you don't have to look any further than Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather who will obviously get it on in a boxing ring on August 26th.

However there is one man bigger than the pair when it comes to getting himself over and that's Tyson Fury the former world heavyweight champion had his say on the fight, and called out Hulk Hogan in the process:

The accepted thinking is that McGregor doesn't really have a chance in the ring with Mayweather, seeing as his professional boxing career reads 0-0 in comparison to Mayweather's 49-0.

However if the Irishman is to have a chance at winning then it's almost certainly going to have to be by knockout and surprising his opponent with one of his killer left hooks that has finished many a UFC fight.

Fury of course hasn't fought since winning the world heavyweight title against Wladimir Klitschko and his more recent high profile prediction was when the Ukrainian lost to Anthony Joshua, when Fury's prediction was for the opposite to happen.

The 'Gypsy King' keeps threatening his return to the ring soon but we are yet to see it. Hopefully he gets fit and firing for a shot at Joshua in one of UK's biggest dust ups in years.

Will Fury be right about the McGregor vs Mayweather fight?
