They don't call him 'Money' for nothing.

So, about Floyd Mayweather's fight versus Tenshin Nasukawa.

Hey, it could have been worse...

The 41-year-old is coming out of retirement to fight a kick-boxing phenom on New Years Eve in Japan.

We know who he's fighting and where he's fighting but there's no word yet on the rule-set.

Another thing we know is how much Mayweather is set to earn.

The self-proclaimed 'Money' will be raking in cash for his bout against Nasukawa. Serious cash.

We're talking £69 million. That's $88 million and ¥10 billion according to Tokyo-Sport.

Japanese promotion Rizin is expected to fork out £49 million ($62 million and ¥7 billion), with Mayweather gaining the rest of his purse through broadcast/pay-per-view revenue.

That's a lot of moolah but Mayweather is no stranger to huge purses. In fact, he's set to earn less than what he's received in his last few bouts.

Against Manny Pacquiao in 2015, he pocketed a reported $100 million. Though it's believed he walked away with nearly $150 million.

Mayweather cashed a $100 million cheque following his crossover bout versus Conor McGregor.

Of course, Mayweather boasts a perfect and unblemished 50-0 professional boxing record after stopping the Irishman in August 2017.

But it's not known whether he'll put his record on the line against Nasukawa because it could be a hybrid-MMA bout or something crazier.
