Floyd Mayweather seems more than up for slugging it out with Khabib Nurmagomedov but he has named his condition for the potential fight: it has to be in his world.

After he replied to the challenge on Instagram, The 50-fighter spoke to TMZ in Beverly Hills and confirmed his interest in fighting another UFC star but stressed how it would have to be in a boxing fight because Khabib, the UFC Lightweight champion, was the one who made the call-out.

"Oh, we fighting!" Mayweather said.

"I'm my own boss, so I can't say what's going on on Khabib's end, but on my end we can make it happen.

"Who's the A-side?! He called me out, so he's got to come to my world."

Khabib made the challenge when in the company of Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather promotions:

Mayweather, who reckons he'd receive a guaranteed nine-figure payday of at least $110 million, should he square off against the Dagestani fighter, also had his say on Khabib having a dig at him not dropping McGregor in their Vegas boxing match

"So Khabib, you got my leftovers. Whoopy-do," was Money's short and swift response.

In his latest post on Instagram, Khabib said no to a potential fight in Las Vegas because he's still not received his purse for his UFC 229 victory over McGregor due to the melee he caused afterwards.

However, Mayweather is of the opinion that Vegas, where so many of his marquee matches have taken place, is the only option as far as locations go. He did also add that Khabib would have to "conduct himself like a professional" after the fight if it did come to fruition.

The whole Mayweather-Khabib thing does seem very daft but that was also the case with all the McGregor stuff last year and we know how that turned out.

Do you think we will see the two of them mix it up?

Sound off in the comments.
