Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to challenge Conor McGregor, and successfully racked up his 50th professional victory. Could 'TBE' return to the ring?

Well, Amir Khan is hoping to lure him back to the squared circle as he calls him out.

Following his stoppage victory against the UFC star, Mayweather, not for the first time, called time on his illustrious career immediately after the August fight.

Despite the 40-year-old's stance, Khan continues to holler his name for a fight.

Khan, 30, hasn't fought since his devastating loss to 'Canelo' in May 2016. He's been blighted with injuries while entering the jungle down under.

(You have to watch Khan freaking out over spiders:)

The former light-welterweight champion is currently in Australia competing in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'

And Mayweather has since responded to Khan's invitation while also reacting to his stint on the popular television series.

"It's nothing new for me," Mayweather said via Express. "Every fighter out there wants a chance against me because they know, win or lose, it's going to be a big payday for them.

"I have always maintained I am nobody's meal ticket.

Khan's defeat to the Mexican middleweight snapped a five-fight win streak which included scalps over Luiz Collazo - on Mayweather's under card - Devon Alexander and Chris Algieri, among others.

Though the self-proclaimed 'Money' is hellbent on setting up bouts against fighters who deserve it, ruling out Khan in the process.

"I only set up fights with fighters that deserve it and who are going to be part of a great fight for fans. Only last month, I read about him [Khan] calling me out of retirement.

"He wants to fight the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world and now I hear is running away from a few snakes and spiders. Please! He needs to get real and stick with TV," Mayweather hilariously added.

Will Mayweather stay retired?
