Following months of negotiation, David Haye has agreed terms to rematch Tony Bellew.

The 36-year-old posted on social media confirming that he's agreed to tackle Bellew once more.

He posted the following message accompanied of an action shot of their fight:

"It's taken months of negotiating but teams have finally agreed ALL terms for #HayeBellew2 Will Bellew put pen to paper?! #RevengeOrRepeat"

A December date is being muted with a venue and location still to be determined.

Haye and Bellew fought in March with the Evertonian shocking the boxing world by inflicting Haye with his third professional defeat, and his first stoppage loss since 2004.

The pair were embroiled in a heated war of words with Haye even landing a punch on Bellew during a wild pre-fight press conference.

Haye had reeled off three straight wins, albeit against modest competition, after returning to the ring following his 2011 defeat to Wladimir Klitschko. Though he did beat Dereck Chisora in another fiery contest.

Bellew, the WBC cruiserweight world champion, will continue to venture at heavyweight despite holding onto a world title in the division below.

The 34-year-old was heavily linked with a world title shot at heavyweight following his debut win at the weight. A fight against undefeated WBO holder Joe Parker was briefly explored, as well as a super-fight against Andre Ward.

Repeat or revenge - who's everyone backing? Let us know.
