It didn't take long for Conor McGregor to respond to Floyd Mayweather after the 50-0 boxer re-opened the war of words by posting on Instagram.
The two gained a mutual respect for one another after their mega fight in August after months of constant trash-talking in interviews, but the beef clearly hasn't been squashed completely as out of nowhere, Mayweather took to social media to rip into McGregor.
'Money' posted a screenshot of a headline from article reporting that McGregor was in deep shit after punching an Irish gangster a couple of months back, and wrote the following message alongside a slew of emojis:

"I already fucked you up in 2017 now they about to fuck you up in 2018. You're about to start your new year off with a bang."
McGregor, not one to stay silent, simply wrote: "I am the cartel" in response to Mayweather's Tweet:
They've took a bit of a break from feuding but the two titans have got everyone talking again - with plenty believing round two is on.
