Anthony Joshua has hinted at a potential, all-British super-fight with lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The WBA, IBF and WBO champion beat Russian Alexander Povetkin at Wembley last year.

The towering heavyweight from Watford retained his titles with a seventh-round knockout in front 80,000 in attendance and thousands more at home.

But fight fans have been longing for a British super-fight since Carl Froch beat George Groves in a revenge grudge match at the national football stadium.

Tyson Fury is one of the names on Joshua's radar. It would surely be one of the biggest fights this country has ever seen.

The London 2012 Olympic champion hinted at the potential bout on The Graham Norton Show on Friday night:

"That would be massive. I would love to (fight Fury)," he said. "It would be amazing to have two British heavyweights and we would be combining the belts up. In the eyes of a lot of people, Fury is a champion as such."

Fury - the self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King' - returned to the sport after a long battle with mental illness. He fought the undefeated Deyontay Wilder at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The heavyweight clash ended with a controversial draw decision. Rival Joshua believed Fury deserved to return to the U.K. with the WBC title - and even called-out Wilder himself.

Speaking on the show, he said: "The fight that Wilder and Fury had: I felt that Fury won. I've got four (titles), you've (Wilder) got the last one: let's combine them together."

He added: "You can have the biggest audience, the best U.K. crowd there is and fight for the heavyweight championship of the world."

Joshua's next fight is booked for the 13th of April at Wembley, but no opponent has been announced yet.

t's very unlikely to be Wilder or Fury on this occasion - but a super-fight against either heavyweight will certainly be pencilled in for the near future, we hope
