Tyson Fury's pre-fight open workout left fans in awe including Conor McGregor who paid him a compliment ahead of his fight against Tom Schwarz.

The self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King' takes on the unheralded Schwarz in Las Vegas and ahead of the heavyweight contest, he's stunned boxing fans with his lighting hand-speed and flawless movement.

He took part in a workout at the MGM Grand Hotel and he showed off his hand speed, head movement and footwork in an impressive sequence.

The former UFC 'champ-champ' uploaded a clip of Fury going through his paces on social media accompanied with the following words: "This is what fully committed pad work looks like," he wrote on Twitter.

"Amazing! Welcome to The Mac Life "Gypsy King" Tyson Fury! Leading the game from all angles. Enjoy Sin city my man we are not here for a long time, we are here for a good time. Atta boy Tyson, The number 1 HW boxer of this era."

It's not the first time McGregor and Fury have exchanged words. The lineal heavyweight champion hailed the Irishman for transcending MMA.

"I think Conor has transcended the game of MMA," he said about McGregor.

"He's set precedents, he's set the game on fire. He's definitely a game-changer in MMA.

"He's crossed over, he's fought Mayweather, he's become a massive superstar and he should definitely be very proud of himself."

McGregor responded to the kind words by issuing a message to Fury.

Meanwhile, Fury faces Schwarz on Saturday in a tune-up bout following his draw against Deontay Wilder in December 2018.
