Tyson Fury has hilariously hit back at Dillian Whyte's sparring claims as he continues to stoke their fierce rivalry.

In a recent interview ahead of his main-event bout at the O2 Arena, Whyte said he "laid out" Fury in a sparring session.

"Tyson's awkward, he's long, he's rangy, some days he may outbox you here and there, but I definitely laid him out before," he said.

"I definitely put him on his bottom before. I don't like talking about sparring but seeing as he wants to come out and say, he's put it on me in the gym and this, that, and whatever."

Well, Fury, who was in attendance for Daniel Dubois vs. Nathan Gorman over the weekend, has fired back in savage fashion.

"Dillian Whyte is a bum, untrue," he said. "Dillian Whyte couldn't drop his granny, never mind the 'Gypsy King'.

"Who has Dillian Whyte ever dropped? Lucas Browne? Please.

"Who else? Who has he ever dropped, I've never seen him drop anyone.

"They know where to find it anyway, if they want it, come see me."

The back and forth bickering continues as they gear up for their respective fights.

Whyte will face Oscar Rivas on Saturday in a heavyweight title eliminator while Fury is set to return to action in October, after beating Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas last month.

The lineal heavyweight champion is then expected to rematch Deontay Wilder in 2020 with 'The Body Snatcher' also hoping to get a crack at the American's WBC title.
