Anthony Joshua Reveals How A Fight Vs Mike Tyson Would Have Gone

Right now Anthony Joshua sits at the top of the world when it comes to heavyweight boxers and he's plenty of challengers. But how does he think he'd have got on against peak Iron Mike?

The heavyweight division in boxing is the most prestigious of them all, the blue ribband event. But for years it was the play thing of not one but two Klitschkos.

Then, almost two years ago one Klitschko had long since retired, the other Ukrainian who'd had a near 10 year monopoly on the world title lost his crown to Tyson Fury.

And 18 months later it was another Brit, Anthony Joshua, who gave Wladimir his second big loss in succession as he took over the mantle as the world's best heavyweight.

Whilst most people would be scared of facing Joshua in the mid 80s to mid 90s there was one man the world was scared of, Iron Mike Tyson.

But just exactly how would a fight between a peak Tyson and a peak Joshua go down?

Tyson won his first world title in 1986 and was undefeated at the time with a 28-0 record, after winning the first 19 fights of his career inside the distance.

He would only defend the title nine times before his shock defeat to Buster Douglas before a comeback saw him regain the title some six years later when he beat Frank Bruno.

However his most infamous fight would be the DQ loss to Evander Holyfield in the pair's second fight after Tyson bit his opponent's ear.

Quite simply he was the baddest man on the planet.

Tyson's career is shrouded in controversy after he was convicted of rape and spent three years in prison but his ability as a boxer is unquestionably.

The current champ is expected to have a rematch with Klitschko later this year in Las Vegas and after that a match against the new Tyson is possible somewhere down the line.

What we wouldn't give for that time machine.
