Imagine Anthony Joshua facing a footballer.

It sounds crazy, obviously, but just a few weeks a ago a 0-0 fighter with no professional background in boxing fought Floyd Mayweather who happens to be one of the greatest boxers in history.

So, hey, anythings possible, right?!

Well, if Joshua had his choice he's named the footballer he'd want to tangle with.

Speaking to the lads over at Copa 90, Joshua was asked by a fan who he'd want to fight, and he named a Premier League star.

"If you had to fight any footballer who would it be?"

Joshua replied by saying: "[Yaya] Toure."

The Ivorian international is a commanding presence in the middle of the park, and his 'beast' like traits is appreciated by Joshua.

"He's a bit of a beast, ain't he," the undefeated boxer affirmed.

The football-boxing related questions came in thick and fast. He was also asked who he'd least like to fight between Adebayo 'Beast Mode' Akinfenwa and Zlatan 'Ibra' Ibrahimvoic.

"That's a tough one. But Akinfenwa is a beast!"

Before saying he wouldn't want a dust-up with the Wycombe frontman because he's a 'UNIT!'

Meanwhile, fantasy bouts aside, Joshua is set to defend his IBF and WBA world titles against No.1 IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev on October 28th.

After selling out the England's national football stadium, the 27-year-old now faces the Bulgarian at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. From one stadium to another.

Pulev has reeled off five consecutive wins since suffering his first professional to Klitschko including a points victory against fellow Brit Dereck Chisora.

But while Joshua sets his sights on him, fans and media alike will are seeking for super-fights in 2018 with Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury on his radar.
